- Pool cleaning and Care: The custom indoor heated pool has scheduled cleaning and chemical balancing twice per week. The pool technician will need the enter through the lower level exterior pool door entrance and this may be during your stay. - Pest control: The Lady Vista is regularly inspected and treated for the prevention and control of pests. From time to time, you may see pests inside or outside of the cabin. - Generator: The Lady Vista has a back up generator to supply guests with power in the case of a power outage. Never have to worry with the loss of power. - Before You Book: The final stretch of road to The Lady Vista is part paved, part gravel, with hills, curves, and a gated entry. Any vehicle can make it, but if you’re not used to mountain roads, AWD/4WD is recommended. Your gate code will be provided prior to arrival. - Pet-Friendly Luxury: Up to two dogs (max 50 lbs each) are welcome with a $250 pet fee. Six of us, all adults, stayed at the Lady Vista for a week and loved it. The house is modern, airy and bright. The wooden floors and walls have the look and feel of quality, and don’t creak with changing temperature as wooden structures sometimes do. The layout is excellent: large kitchen with countertop seating, a spacious main seating area that opens onto the deck (we kept a sliding door open for the breeze) and a dining area that also opens onto the deck. The view alone is worth five stars: from the main and upstairs floors you look west to the surrounding hills and distant mountains. The sunsets are gorgeous, and at night the sky fills with stars and the valley with lights from other homes. Even on a rainy, foggy day the scenery is breathtaking. The kitchen has ample counter space, two big sinks, double ovens, burners and microwaves that were gratifyingly easy to operate. Upstairs is a common area with pool & poker table and other games. One drawback of these open concept vacation homes is that noise easily travels. You don’t want someone emptying the dishwasher or playing pool while others are trying to sleep. But honestly I’ve stayed in places where noise was much more of a problem. We all slept pretty well. We didn’t spend much time in the pool, which isn’t really big enough to swim laps. It’s more suitable for children. To relax, we hung out in the big hot tub with its great view. Travis may be the best host I’ve ever had in a vacation rental. He responded within minutes and graciously to virtually every query, whether it was about payments (straightforward, no surprises) or Internet speed. I asked him just before arrival if the house had a salad spinner. He said no, but would deliver one. It was there when we checked in! The gravel driveway is steep in sections with a pronounced crown, so a vehicle with some clearance is best (though one of us drove up in his rear drive Porsche just fine.) Almost every place I’ve stayed something didn’t work - an appliance, a shower fixture, a gas barbecue, but the Lady Vista is meticulously maintained: everything worked!

Our family's favorite cabin. There are so many thoughtful touches, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, lots of family-friendly activities. Travis was an absolute gem of a host and his response time to any question was immediate. You can tell he cares that his guests enjoy their stay in his beautiful home. We all agree that staying here again is a must!
